A powerful 120volt electric vehicle, designed by its Atherstone-based builder to compete favourably with modern traffic conditions, this one joined the Leicestershire Co-op fleet (no.E55), bodied as a refrigerated van. It was sold in 1990 to the Greater Nottingham Co-op where it received a new open dairy body. The original van body, owned by the Museum, will be re-fitted one day.
